H&T Supports Local Chelmsford Food Bank

At Henderson & Taylor we recognise our obligation to add social value to all of our works. As the size of works increases, so does the responsibility to give back to the communities in which we work. We achieve this through a number of channels, but the one which our teams are often the most invested in is choosing a local charity for a large project and donating towards their goals.

During the works on Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, we asked the site team to select a local charity to sponsor, and they chose the Chelmsford Food Bank, who provide three days' supply of nutritionally balanced emergency food to those referred to them in times of great need. The work done by the Chelmsford Food Bank is especially critical at this time, when many are suffering crises due to Covid-19's impact on the local community.
