Olympic Torch Route Traffic Maintenance

Henderson and Taylor were proud to work with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council in providing and setting out the TM for the Olympic Torch route through Southend town Center.

The works involved the supply and installation of six kilometers of pedestrian guardrail. Due to the popularity of the Town Center the fencing had to be set out between 10pm and 6am. It was successfully set out, and the day was a roaring success. All of the traffic management had to then be packed up that afternoon.
