Lynch Limited was appointed by the Healthcare Partnership to undertake removal of Japanese knotweed in Swansea. The works were required to prepare the site for the development of a new medical centre.

When Japanese knotweed was identified on a site proposed for the new Metro West Rail project linking Portishead to Bristol, Lynch Limited FM Ltd were called in to remove the problem. The site survey revealed multiple mature stands of Japanese knotweed both onsite and on an adjacent Wessex Water Sewage Pumping Station.

Japanese knotweed was identified across multiple locations at the Former Standish hospital site located on the outskirts of Stonehouse Village. As part of the proposed sale of the HCA owned land to enable residential development, the knotweed was required to be removed in order to approve planning consent.

Lynch Limited undertook the careful clearance and removal of surface Japanese knotweed. As the excavation was dug, the walls of the excavation and spoil were inspected for rhizomes.

Japanese knotweed was identified at multiple locations on the site of the Filton Bank 4T capacity improvement works, a 7 km stretch of railway from Lawrence Hill Sewer to Filton Abbey Wood Station, Bristol. The route extends through areas of residential and light industrial use with allotments, greenspace and woodlands alongside.
